A new level of recognition

We are proud to announce that Cloudwalker has achieved the AWS Data and Analytics Services Competency, awarded on 25 July 2026. AWS Competencies are awarded to partners who demonstrate deep technical expertise and proven customer success in a specific solution area — in our case, the full data and analytics lifecycle on AWS.

For a team that has spent more than two decades building data platforms for the betting and gaming industry, this is recognition of the way we have always worked: AWS-native architecture, measurable outcomes, and platforms that the business actually uses every day.

Competency vs. Service Validation

Over the past years Cloudwalker has collected eight AWS Service Validations, each confirming that we deliver a single AWS service to AWS's standards. A Competency goes further. Instead of one service, it looks at an entire solution area:

  • End-to-end scope — ingestion, storage, processing, warehousing, visualisation and governance, assessed as one practice rather than service by service.
  • Proven customer success — the Competency is based on real customer engagements reviewed by AWS, not on a single project or a self-assessment.
  • Technical validation — AWS reviews our architecture, delivery methodology and operational practices against its own best practices.

The Competency builds on data platforms we have delivered for leading betting operators in the region, including MaxBet (a featured AWS case study), Soccerbet, MerkurXtip and LobBet.

The AWS Data and Analytics Services Competency sits on top of our AWS Advanced Tier partnership, eight AWS Service Validations, 60+ team certifications and ISO 27001 certification.

What this means for you

For our clients, the Competency means lower risk and a single, AWS-recognised partner for the whole data platform:

  • CDC and migration — moving data from on-premise SQL Server and other sources with AWS DMS, with change data capture instead of full reloads.
  • Real-time and streaming — Amazon Kinesis and Apache Flink for live odds, player activity and fraud signals.
  • Data lake and governance — Amazon S3, AWS Glue and Lake Formation, with separate raw, curated and consumption layers.
  • Data warehouse — Amazon Redshift as the analytical source of truth, with Zero-ETL integrations and materialized views tuned for real workloads.
  • Insight and AI — Amazon QuickSight dashboards and conversational analytics on Amazon Bedrock with Echo.
